The rooms are neat and include coffee and tea making facilities, and a refrigerator. The continental breakfast is enjoyable with a GREAT view over Florence and champagne, for example.

We went with a handicapped/wheelchair friend and her daughter to attend a wedding nearby. The staff were 100% attentive to us and nothing was too much trouble. The disabled room was very good and the bathroom was very well appointed for disabled users. The view from the terraces and some of the rooms looked over Florence and we could see the Duomo. The setting was perfect. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice.

The location on the Fiesole hillside, overlooking Florence, with a view of the Duomo. The swimming pool. Very good breakfast buffet. Bus into Florence stops right outside and tickets are available from the hotel.

It was charming. The dinner food was excellent. The view of the Florence was beautiful.
The charge for Internet access was absurd. That should be included, like utilities. The staff was too thin at times. There was no one to help with the luggage at 7:30am when we checked out. I do not blame the staff, only the lack there of.

Great views. Lovely terrace for meals. The room was pretty small, but light and airy, with good views of Florence.
No mini-bar, which you would expect in a hotel for this price.

It was a quiet location with scenic views. The bus to/from Florence was frequent and stops in front of the hotel. The place was very clean and beautiful building. The staff were very friendly
The WiFi access was charged per hour and expensive, requiring a login And logout page - very annoying for iPhone/IPad users. Stupid when wifi is free in cafes in the town. The prices for all services (restaurant, poolside drinks etc.) were way overpriced to the point of a rip-off. €5 for a can of beer in the minibar? €4.20 for a glass of apple juice from a bottle? Lol
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
